The IBE Revelation: How I Discovered the Safest and Most Versatile Hair Extension Method

I’ve been a stylist for over 20 years and have always avoided having extensions as part of my service menu. And here’s why.
I work hard to maintain the health of my client’s hair and/or repair damage that has been done elsewhere due to over-processing, poor hair care, or misuse of products. I have been able to nurture my client’s hair back to health through proper processing, in-salon treatments, and prescribing professional products for at-home use to maintain healthy hair between salon appointments.
The clients that I saw in my chair that have experienced extensions, had severe issues with their scalp and hair. I had never seen or heard any positive feedback or great reviews regarding any type or brand of hair extensions. Not to mention, I had never seen extensions that even looked good. As a stylist, I could always tell when someone had extensions. Either the hair itself looked fake, or it wasn’t blended with the natural hair or the color difference was way off. Not impressed and certainly wasn’t gonna install something in my client’s hair that didn’t look flawless and believable.
So I just disregarded any opportunity with hair extensions. UNTIL my daughter’s hair started falling out. In her senior year of high school, she started experiencing a massive amount of hair loss. So of course, I immediately focused on changing her hair care. I stopped coloring her hair, switched her to specific products to try and help her hair, went through testing at the dermatologist, and all the things! Nothing was helping. Then, my hair started falling out too! That’s when I thought, ok, something is the same with us. What’s happening to both of us or what are we both doing that is causing this? I quickly thought of our WELL WATER! A few months before her hair started falling out, we had just moved into a new house with well water. I bought shower head filters and installed them in each of our showers and our hair immediately stopped falling out! Crazy, huh?! Unfortunately, for my daughter, the damage was already done. She had already lost so much hair, that her ponytail was the size of my pinky finger. I HAD TO HELP HER!
A woman’s hair is so important and such a huge part of our confidence, our femininity, and our security. I was determined to find a way to help her regain all that by restoring her hair. That’s when I began my research on hair extensions. I quickly came across “Invisible Bead Extensions”. Since getting certified with IBE, I’ve invested multiple thousands of dollars and hours into improving my skills. I’ve leveled up to PLATFORM ARTIST with IBE, the highest designation within the company, and will continue to educate myself so that my clients get the hair they deserve and have invested so much in themselves. IBE is so flexible and comfortable, that you can wear your hair up the day of the initial install. I even have a micro weft option that allows you to let your hair air dry without the risk of swelling at the weft seam.
